European Steel Scrap and Circular Economy Forum 2026 - the upcoming forum is organized to assemble key industry stakeholders, including scrap processors, steel manufacturers, end-user sectors, technology researchers and developers, and policymakers. This two-day forum is to facilitate in-depth deliberations on the opportunities and challenges associated with advancing circularity within the steel industry, while providing a collaborative platform for the exchange of cutting-edge insights, alignment of strategic objectives, and identification of actionable pathways to accelerate the transition toward a more sustainable, low-carbon, and circular steel ecosystem.

On November 12–13, 2026, the 2nd European Steel Scrap Recycling and Circular Economy Forum will take place in Düsseldorf, focusing on the development of sustainable and low-carbon solutions in the steel industry.

The program will cover the role of steel scrap in reducing emissions, the development of a circular economy, ensuring stable supply of recycled materials, and improving efficiency in electric arc furnace steelmaking.
