Архитектура Петербурга - 10-я Биеннале
About the conference
The 2026 St. Petersburg Architectural Biennale is a professional forum dedicated to discussing current trends in architecture, urban planning, and the development of the urban environment. The event will bring together architects, developers, designers, representatives from construction firms, government authorities, and other professionals involved in shaping the face of modern cities.
The event is organized by the Association of Architectural Studios (AAS), with the support of the governments of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region. Irina Barto—chair of the AAS and founder/architect at the firm Umbra—serves as the project’s architectural curator.
The business program will cover a wide range of topics, from the application of artificial intelligence in architectural design to project financing and the promotion of architectural practices. Foresight sessions will explore the investment appeal of the urban environment, the development of infrastructure for tourism and industry, and new operational approaches for architectural firms in a shifting market. A dedicated segment will focus on professional ethics, cooperation, and collaboration among companies within a competitive landscape.
Complementing the business program, an exhibition will showcase over 50 projects completed between 2025 and 2026. As part of the "Studio Lounges" (Gostinye Byuro) exhibition, 23 leading architectural firms will present curated spaces that reveal their unique design philosophies, aesthetics, and professional principles.
