About the conference
Chemistry of a Great Country. Perm 2026 is a regional chemical industry forum and exhibition taking place on December 2–4, 2026, at the Perm Expo Convention and Exhibition Centre as part of the 11th Perm Engineering and Industrial Forum.
The event will bring together representatives of the chemical, oil refining and petrochemical industries, government authorities, science and education, equipment suppliers, engineering companies and financial institutions. The combined audience of the two events is expected to exceed 3,500 participants.
The plenary session will focus on the development of the petrochemical sector in the Perm Region within the framework of the national projects “New Materials and Chemistry” and “Technological Support for the Bioeconomy”. Key topics will include the region’s investment potential, the development of oil refining and petrochemicals, new production facilities and industrial infrastructure.
Main programme topics include:
- technological independence of the oil refining and petrochemical sector;
- development of the bioeconomy and Russian chemical engineering;
- small- and medium-scale chemical production;
- import substitution of catalysts and regional polymer cooperation;
- financial support instruments for industrial projects;

The plenary session is expected to bring together representatives of federal and regional authorities, the Russian Union of Chemists, industry analytical centres, the Perm Region Development Corporation and leading industrial companies.
The forum will also feature an exhibition of equipment and technological solutions, where regional companies will present their developments, products and solutions for the chemical and petrochemical industries.
