North American Green Steel Summit 2025

The European Green Steel Summit 2026, taking place on 20-21 April in Düsseldorf, Germany, will gather leading steel producers, technology innovators, energy suppliers, policymakers, and value-chain stakeholders to address the industry's most pressing challenge: decarbonization at scale while maintaining global competitiveness.

The summit explores the accelerating shift toward renewable-powered steelmaking, hydrogen-based DRI, CCUS deployment, and circular production models. Participants will assess the impact of the EU Green Deal, CBAM, EU ETS, and emerging “green premium” mechanisms on market dynamics and long-term investment strategies. Key topics include responsible raw-material sourcing, ESG compliance, Europe’s resource resilience, scrap-based EAF expansion, and the digitalization of steelmaking through data analytics and AI.

Serving as a strategic meeting point for industrial leaders, the summit supports collaboration across the hydrogen economy, mining, renewable energy, automotive, construction, finance, and sustainability consulting—shaping the future of low-carbon steel in Europe.
