AGRORUS 2025 - international agricultural exhibition

From October 15 to 17, the 34th International Agro-Industrial Exhibition “AGRORUS” will be held at the Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Center, St. Petersburg.

AGRORUS is one of the oldest and most reputable events in the agricultural sector. The project is aimed at developing agro-industrial infrastructure and ensuring food security in the Northwestern Federal District and across Russia. The 2025 program will also focus on expanding interregional and international cooperation.

Traditionally, AGRORUS is attended by top officials of the Russian agro-industrial complex, heads of federal and regional authorities, leaders of sectoral organizations and agencies, as well as representatives of business and the scientific community. In 2025, the exhibition is expected to attract more than 6,000 visitors.

Exhibition

Collective expositions will be presented by enterprises of St. Petersburg, the Donetsk People’s Republic, and Novosibirsk Region. Exhibitors will also include companies from over 10 Russian regions, as well as from Belarus and China.

• Services for packaging, storage, transportation, and recycling

Unique highlights:

• Production of foam-based products using modern eco-friendly polymers (Travel+)
• House construction, frame and panel housing (Novotorzhsky Timber Plant)
• Production of compound feeds for farm animals (Soyapovolzhye, EnergoTechnoKorm)
• Developments in animal embryo transplantation, microclonal propagation laboratory research, and unmanned aerial systems for agriculture (SPbSAU).
• At the SPbSAU stand, visitors will also be able to taste food products created by the university’s young researchers.

Congress Program

More than 30 business events are planned at AGRORUS 2025. Key highlights include:

• Session: “Russian Agricultural Export. Dynamics and Development Prospects” (organized by the Federal Center for Export Development of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia)
• Conference: “New Technologies in Meat Processing and Storage” (organized by the Meat Processors’ Association)
• IV BRICS and BRICS+ Conference on Sustainable Agricultural Development, Food Security, and the Impact of Agricultural Products on Health and Longevity
• III International Forum on Rural/Agritourism: “From Farm to Table Through the Prism of Traditions and Cultural Heritage”

For two days, the Business Contact Center will operate at the exhibition (October 15 – Retail Day with major retail chains; October 16 – HoReCa Day with restaurants, hotels, and cafés). More than 500 direct negotiations between suppliers and major domestic buyers are planned.

Contest Program

Award ceremonies will take place on October 17:

• “Approved for Purchase” Contest (organized by the St. Petersburg Public Consumer Control Association) will identify food products on store shelves in the Northwest that fully comply with all declared standards.
• “Golden Medal” Contest (under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation) will recognize the best producers and service providers in the agro-industrial sector. Participants include large enterprises, farms, private entrepreneurs, and research organizations.

Special Events

• October 15 – City Gardener’s Day (St. Petersburg); signing of a Cooperation Agreement with the Federal Center for Export Development of Agro-Industrial Products of the Russian Federation
• October 16 – Demonstration of Traditional Costumes of the Russian North (18th–20th centuries)
