From March 24 to 25, 2026, the St. Petersburg International Environmental Forum «Ecology of big city 2026» will take place in St. Petersburg at the Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The Forum focuses on key issues such as environmental well-being of regions and large cities, development of the circular economy, environmental monitoring, water use and protection of water resources, development of protected natural areas, and more.
Participants include regional executive authorities responsible for environmental policy, the business community, manufacturers and developers of innovative environmental protection equipment and technologies, as well as representatives of specially protected natural areas of Russia.

The Forum is included in the official schedule of events for the inter-congress period of the Neva International Environmental Congress, underscoring its importance in shaping a consolidated position of the Russian Federation on key environmental policy issues. The organizers of the Neva International Environmental Congress are the Government of Russia, the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS Member States, and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation. The operator responsible for the preparation and implementation of the event is the Roscongress Foundation.
Over its 25-year history, the Forum has established itself as an authoritative industry platform, consistently expanding its scale and scope, fostering cross-sector cooperation, exchanging practical experience in solving environmental challenges faced by cities and regions, and showcasing modern environmental protection technologies and equipment.
