ISH is the world's leading trade fair for HVAC + Water: heating, ventilation, air conditioning and water. Held in Frankfurt am Main every two years, it brings together the whole industry, from bathroom design to heat pumps and smart building management. It is organised by Messe Frankfurt; the first ISH took place in 1960.

Who should attend

Installers (29% of visitors), industry (20%), wholesale and retail, engineering and planning offices, architects and interior designers, construction and housing companies, energy service providers, investors and municipalities. Most international visitors come from China, Italy and the Netherlands. ISH is open to trade visitors only for the first four days; the final day is also open to the public.

The programme includes the House of Energy congress, forums on heating, indoor air and building management, the German Energy Consultants' Day and the Drinking Water Compliance Forum on requirements for products in contact with drinking water.

What's new at ISH 2027

A new motto, "The Power of Solutions": the focus is on integrated solutions rather than individual technologies.
Pools & Spas becomes a sector of its own in Hall 3.0, bringing the total to nine.
The Green Roofs & Facades special area adds Urban Water Futures (rainwater and greywater) and Metal Envelopes (metal facades).
For the first time: the Skilled Trades Meet Care congress on bathrooms for people who need care, a new bathroom trends special show and a Hospitality Day for the hotel industry.
