Fiera di Genova has organised trade fairs and events at a national and international level since 1962. Situated at the very heart of the city, at the entrance of Genoa’s historical port, the Trade Fair and Exhibition Centre has exploited its proximity to the sea at best to conceive and develop over the years one of its leading events, the International Boat Show. Its other major event, the flower exhibition Euroflora, turns the exhibition centre into a unique, magnificent stage for floriculture (one of the strongest commercial sectors in the Liguria region) every five years.

Genoa Trade Fair and Exhibition Centre is located at the very heart of the city, by the sea, from which it was reclaimed in the early 1960s through complex, extensive in-filling works. The overall project was accomplished by Luigi Carlo Daneri. The centre's current exhibition area includes two pavilions - the Blue Pavilion designed by Atelier Jean Nouvel and Pavilion D, large outdoor areas and two marinas where boats up to eighty metres in length can be berthed.
Fiera di Genova is a state-owned company limited by shares whose shareholders are Genoa Municipality, the Liguria Region, the Province of Genoa, Genoa Chamber of Commerce, and Genoa Port Authority. It is a member of AEFI and IFBSO.
