Open joint stock company "The Exhibition of achievements of national economy" (VDNH) Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy is the largest Exhibition centre in Moscow, about 15 million Muscovites and guests of the capital visit the Centre yearly. It has all necessary conditions for the efficient exhibitions and for the good rest. Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy holds and organizes exhibition and fairs, congress arrangements, social actions, festivals, concerts, sporting competitions and other cultural arrangements. There are exhibition and commercial centers of Armenia; Kyrgyzstan; commercial, exhibition, informative and marketing centre of Belarusian in the Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy. They also negotiate about opening of Ayzerbaydzhanskaya Republic, Republic of Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Volga and Central Federal Districts of Russian Federation in Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy. Also on the territory of the Exhibition of achievements of national economy are organized permanent exhibitions of states - participants from the Commonwealth of Independent States and subjects of Russian Federation. These exhibitions represent science and technology, economic and cultural potential of States and Russia's regions. Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy is the operator of Russia's National exhibitions and Russia and Moscow expositions, which are organized on the largest foreign and International exhibitions. In 2010 the Exhibition of achievements of national economy presented the Russia exposition in national pavilion on the World Exhibition EXPO 2010 in Shanghai (China). Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy provides wide range of services such as creation of exhibits, presentations of companies, regions, advertising, information, document, customs, transport and forwarding services, also visa, hotel reservations, providing office and trade areas. Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy develops very active today and preserves the historical traditions at the same time. The most important and priority directions of development for the Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy are exhibition, congress work, leisure activities, science and education work. The Exhibition of achievements of national economy offers to rent 4 specially equipped conference halls for the negotiations, business meetings, press-conferences and other similar activities. The large and small conference halls are located in the administrative building of the Exhibition of achievements of national economy. The large conference hall seats 500 people. It has scene, equipped with platform for speeches, sound system and large screen for displaying video. The total area of this hall is 746,5 square meters. Two more rooms for the rent are located in the Reception House of the Exhibition of achievements of national economy. Hall for the business meetings is equipped with microphones, sound amplifying system and plasma screen. It is used as a hall for the events of a highest level. The total area of the hall is 80 square meters. Near the hall for the business meetings is adjacent room - Banquet hall. It is used to service participants of business meetings held in the first hall. The total area of this room is 80 square meters. AREC has: the territory of 2,375,000 sq. m 108,000 sq. m of closed display area, including: 36,800 sq. m intended for major international, all-Russian, inter-regional, and industrial exhibitions; 48,200 sq. m designed for standing exhibitions, fairs, and shows; 23,500 sq. m intended for agricultural exhibitions and fairs; 158,100 sq. m of open display space for exhibitions, mass cultural, educational, and sports events. Main pavilions Pavilion 20 The pavilion was opened in 1967 under the name of Chemical Industry. . Pavilion 26 The Cotton pavilion was built in 1939 under the design by architects P.P. Reviakin, A.M. Gromov, V.F. Tukanov, and I.A. Ignatieva. It was the Farming pavilion at AUAE-54. Since 1963, it has been called USSR Transport. The portico of the pavilion is a historic and cultural monument of state significance. The Cotton pavilion at AUAE -39. Delimiting U-like space, a colonnade with exquisite outlines leads us to the entrance. Over the laced door, there is a large gancho depicting a stylized cotton bush with flowers and ripe bolls. Motley fabrics are hanging inside, on the walls of ornate halls. A land plot showing the irrigation system in cotton fields and cotton-growing conditions is established near the pavilion. The Farming pavilion was distinguished through its стройность and изящество at AUAE -54. Thin columns with caps in the form of stylized bunch of leaves successfully express the nature of plants, their growth, fragility, and direction to the Sun. The facade wall is painted in rich green that heighten white stucco with decorative motifs made of tree branches and plants. The pavilion's facade part is finished with a sculpture group of the tractor driver and a female collective farmer with a book and a sheaf. Two central entrances connect the main facade colonnade with a huge introductory hall, with the ceiling covered with paintings and walls, with numerous colorful panels.
