On October 19–21, 2026, Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre in Moscow will host ExpoCoating Moscow, an international exhibition of materials and equipment for surface treatment, coating application and electroplating. The business programme will bring together scientific research, technical solutions and the practical experience of industry professionals.
The conference, seminar and round tables will cover electroplated and conversion coatings, anodising, electroless nickel plating, micro-arc oxidation (MAO), zinc flake coatings and corrosion protection. Particular attention will be paid to production automation and robotics, as well as the use of artificial intelligence in design and manufacturing processes.
Business Programme: From Research to Manufacturing Challenges
On October 19, the programme will open with “Technologist Day”. The same day will also feature a knowledge game for technologists and two round tables.
At the “Equipment and Integrated Automation of Electroplating Facilities” round table, specialists will discuss equipping and automating electroplating departments. The moderator will be Natalia Kharlamova, Head of Research and Development at NPO Process.
The round table “Application of MAO-MANEL Technology and Equipment in Instrument Making and Mechanical Engineering” will focus on the properties of MAO coatings, setting up production and experience in operating the equipment. It will be moderated by Pavel Butyagin, Director of MANEL and Doctor of Technical Sciences.

On October 20, the scientific and practical conference “Physical Chemistry and Scientific Principles of the Electrochemical and Chemical Formation of Protective and Functional Coatings” will take place. Discussions will focus on coating formation mechanisms, electrochemical processes and research findings. The moderator will be Evgeny Vinokurov, Professor at Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia.
The day’s programme will also include the round table “Zinc Coating Application Technologies”, organised by MVK and the Zinc Development Centre.
On October 21, TAGAT Group and MVK will hold the technical seminar “Automation and Robotics in Electroplating”. Announced topics include AI solutions for design and manufacturing, robotic systems, electroplating shop management and BIM design.
What the Exhibition Will Showcase
The exhibition will feature equipment and materials for electroplating, chemical and mechanical surface treatment, industrial coating application and workpiece preparation. Visitors will also be able to explore equipment for coating quality control.

A separate area will focus on environmental solutions for electroplating facilities, including air purification, water treatment, wastewater treatment and solid waste disposal.
ExpoCoating Moscow will combine product displays at exhibitor stands with technology discussions in conference halls. Industry professionals will be able to ask experts about equipment, coating application and manufacturing process automation.
