Messe Dusseldorf is the new organizer of Saw Expo, the special-interest fair for the saw sector. It will take place every two years in Friedrichshafen, with the first edition being staged June 8 to 11, 2021.
"This is an ideal destination since many producers come from the South of Germany and the neighbouring countries of Switzerland, Austria and Italy", says Daniel Ryfisch, deputy director of the Metals and Flow Technologies global portfolio at Messe Dusseldorf and responsible for organizing Saw Expo.
In even years from 2020, Saw Expo will be held in Düsseldorf as part of Tube Düsseldorf. It will be organized as a special pavilion for sawing and cutting in Messe Dusseldorf's Hall 6. The first spin-off is already scheduled to feature as part of Tube China 2020 in Shanghai in autumn 2020.
Messe Dusseldorf is partnered by Stefan Motte, founder and owner of the "Sageborse", the world's largest specialist portal for sawing, and owner of the name rights. Previously, Motte collaborated with Untitled Exhibitions. Due to differences regarding the trade fair schedule, the Stuttgart company returned the rights after staging the exhibition once.
