On November 14–15, 2026, St. Petersburg will host the third "Health Bridges" congress-workshop, dedicated to the non-surgical treatment of musculoskeletal disorders.
The program will combine clinical presentations, demonstrations of treatment techniques, and hands-on sessions covering physiotherapy, manual therapy, and medical diagnostics. Dedicated sessions will focus on post-surgical rehabilitation and clinic management. The event is organized by the 4Clinic training center.
Scientific program: from diagnosis to rehabilitation
The first day of the congress will focus on the scientific program and the analysis of clinical cases. Physicians will discuss modern approaches to treating musculoskeletal disorders, patient management strategies, and post-surgical recovery. Some presentations will feature demonstrations of medical techniques.
Scheduled topics include patient care pathways for back pain, the diagnosis and treatment of sacroiliitis, modern approaches to knee surgery, shoulder rehabilitation, and recovery following spinal surgery. Specific presentations will address the treatment of tendinopathies, rehabilitation for spondylolysis, and the use of physiotherapy methods.
The program features presentations by practicing specialists from various medical fields.
Speakers include:
- neurologist and spine specialist Pavel Kovzelev,
- rheumatologist Kira Zotkina,
- traumatologist-orthopedist Kirill Zakharov,
- physical therapy specialist Artem Moskalenko.
A key feature of the program is the opportunity to examine clinical scenarios from diverse professional perspectives. In particular, participants will discuss the boundaries between conservative treatment and surgical intervention, as well as approaches to patient recovery following surgery.
Masterclasses across four thematic tracks
The second day will be dedicated to hands-on training. Participants can choose one of four tracks to practice their skills under the guidance of instructors. Group sizes are limited to 30 participants, allowing for greater focus on practical work.
The program covers four areas:
- Physiotherapy and load management: Application of physiotherapeutic methods and tools for dosing physical loads during rehabilitation.
- Magnetic stimulation and sports medicine: Use of magnetic stimulation in post-surgical recovery, injury prevention, and runner rehabilitation.
- Manual techniques and laser therapy: Comprehensive approaches to pain management using manual therapy and high-intensity laser technologies.
- Diagnostics (Ultrasound and MRI): Neuro-orthopedic assessment, ultrasound diagnostics, and analysis of joint and spinal imaging.
This format enables participants to focus on their area of interest and gain practical experience with the techniques and equipment.
From medical practice to clinic management
The program also features roundtables, including a dedicated session for the heads of medical organizations. Business-focused sessions will address topics such as opening a pain management clinic or center, boosting the profitability of rehabilitation clinics, and personnel management.
Attendees can participate in the first day of the congress either in person or via the online broadcast. Participants in the practical intensive course will take part in workshops on the second day. According to the organizers, recordings of the scientific program and speaker materials will be available in the personal account area for three months.
