Expanded education program at North American commercial vehicle show NACV 2019

At the 2019 North American Commercial Vehicle Show (28 — 31 October, Atlanta) attendees can look forward to an enhanced event featuring more displays on more space, as well as an extended lineup of conferences and training sessions. 

North America's largest commercial vehicles trade fair now boasts three Solutions Theaters, where industry thought leaders and visionaries will be sharing expertise and engaging in inspirational debate. Attendance of the Solutions Theaters is free of charge for registered NACV Show visitors. The NACV Show is held every two years by Deutsche Messe (Hannover, Germany) and its subsidiary Hannover Fairs USA in collaboration with Newcom Media Inc.

"We are delighted to offer a rich array of training sessions in which experts will be exploring the many challenges being faced by — and opportunities available to — today's fleet operators, managers and key decision-makers," commented Stefan Handwerk, Global Fairs Director at Deutsche Messe (Hannover, Germany), adding: "We are certain that the three Solutions Theaters will benefit market players from every background by sparking informative discussion and providing valuable input for well-informed decisions."

Two panel discussions will take place in the Solutions Theater located in hall A. The first panel is entitled "Finding the data-driven solutions that work for you". This panel will focus on how fleet owners can identify leading service challenges. Panel participants will provide insight into collecting and organizing the right data to help overcome these challenges. The second panel is entitled "How to use data to improve service operations" that will highlight how to best utilize data — from fault code data to VMRS records — to reduce fleet downtime to improve operations. The Solutions Theater will also feature panel talks on the following topics: "Class 8", "Medium Duty" and "Last Mile  —  Autonomous Delivery Startups".

In the hall B Solutions Theater, panel talks will be held on the following topics, among others: "Vetting Technology" and "Best use of Smart Technology". Three educational sessions will also take place here, including "Transitioning from AOBRDs to ELDs", "Driver Retention" and "Rapid Pace of Technology Trucking".
