From 25 to 27 August 2026, Astana will host GASTherm Expo 2026, an international exhibition dedicated to gas supply, heating, water supply, engineering systems and utility infrastructure. The event is expected to bring together around 100 companies from Kazakhstan, the CIS, Central Asia and China, showcasing advanced equipment, technologies and integrated solutions for the development of municipal and industrial infrastructure.
Today, the modernization of utility networks, improved energy efficiency and the reliability of essential infrastructure are among the key priorities for the sustainable development of cities and regions. Against this backdrop, GASTherm Expo 2026 will provide a professional platform for dialogue between government authorities, businesses and industry experts.
One of the exhibition's central themes will be the development of the gas industry. Participants will discuss gasification projects, the modernization of gas distribution networks, the implementation of advanced safety systems, gas transportation and storage technologies, and ways to improve the reliability of gas supply for residential areas and industrial facilities.
In addition to gas technologies, the exhibition will showcase solutions for heating, water supply and wastewater systems, HVAC technologies, pipeline infrastructure, automation and digital monitoring of engineering networks. Special attention will be given to energy-efficient technologies, intelligent control systems and innovative solutions for the utilities sector.
The highlight of the business programme will be the GasTherm INTERNATIONAL Forum – the Forum on the Development of Kazakhstan's Engineering Infrastructure. The forum will bring together representatives of government agencies, energy companies, industry associations, investors and international experts to discuss the future of the country's infrastructure, regional gasification, the modernization of utility systems and the adoption of advanced technologies.
For the first time, the exhibition will also host the GasTherm Awards 2026, a professional industry award established to recognize outstanding projects and specialists who have made a significant contribution to the development of engineering infrastructure. Winners will be selected in categories covering infrastructure projects, engineering network modernization, regional gasification, digital transformation, industrial safety, as well as the achievements of engineering teams and industry leaders.
According to the organizers, the strong international participation reflects Kazakhstan's growing role as one of Central Asia's key hubs for engineering and infrastructure development. GASTherm Expo 2026 will serve as a venue for showcasing new technologies, exchanging professional expertise, establishing business connections and finding partners for future infrastructure projects.
