Operations Director 2026: practical solutions for improving operational efficiency

On November 12–13, 2026, Moscow will host the All-Russian Forum “Operations Director 2026” — a professional platform for sharing practical experience in operations management and improving business efficiency.

Market transformation, structural changes in the economy, and resource shortages are forcing companies to reconsider their operational strategies. Executives face the challenge of simultaneously reducing costs, improving process resilience, restructuring supply chains, implementing Russian software and new technologies, addressing workforce shortages, and building effective collaboration between departments.

These are the key issues that the forum program will address. Instead of universal theoretical models, the focus will be on real-world company cases, practical tools, research and forecasts, as well as knowledge sharing with peers who are tackling similar challenges in their organizations.

Four key areas of the program

The first day will open with the session “Efficiency and Stable Operations in an Unstable World”. Experts will discuss the economic outlook for 2027, operational resilience, scenario planning, risk management, and change management. Practical case studies will explore how to identify efficiency reserves, reduce time losses and unnecessary processes, and build a system for preventing operational disruptions.

The second major topic is risk management and improving efficiency. The program will cover lean manufacturing and Kaizen, financial resilience, import substitution and localization of procurement and production, supply chain management, critical thinking, and customer service transformation.

AI, automation, and digitalization of operations

A dedicated session on the second day will focus on automation and artificial intelligence as a response to new challenges. Participants will explore AI technologies and predictive analytics, robotics, Russian MES systems, Process Mining, and practical experience in the digitalization of operations.

The program will include a SINTEC case study on using an AI-powered scenario model to transform the end-to-end production and shipment model, experience in automation amid workforce shortages, an analysis of common digitalization mistakes from Rosgosstrakh, and Process Mining practices presented by Sber Process Analytics.

People and processes in operations management

Another important part of the program will focus on productivity and human capital. Experts will discuss employee motivation without standard KPI frameworks, operating amid workforce shortages, employee adaptation, internal customer service, process reengineering, trust, and leadership.

The program therefore covers not only technology and cost optimization but also organizational change — from redesigning individual processes to developing teams and a culture of continuous improvement.

Practical experience and knowledge sharing

The forum will bring together 100+ operations management professionals and 30+ speakers, while the two-day program will feature 20 practical case studies. Announced experts include representatives of ILIM, SIBUR, Rosgosstrakh, Rosatom Science, Napitki Vmeste, Logika Moloka, EGGLAND GROUP, SINTEC, and other companies.

In addition to presentations, participants will take part in master classes and a group networking session. They will be able to choose one of four discussion areas: anti-crisis practices, AI and automation, human capital, or logistics and supply chains.

The forum will be relevant for operations directors and COOs, deputy CEOs for operations, development and production directors, executive directors, and other executives responsible for business efficiency and resilience.
