From Car-Free Courtyards to Charging Hubs: The Parking Russia 2026 Agenda

From Car-Free Courtyards to Charging Hubs: The Parking Russia 2026 Agenda

A car park’s efficiency starts with its design: parking capacity, vehicle throughput, safety, construction costs and future operating expenses all need to be considered. Solutions addressing these challenges will be presented at Parking Russia 2026, the 6th International Exhibition of Equipment and Technologies for Parking Facility Development and Operation. The event will take place on November 10–12 in Pavilion 57 at VDNH in Moscow.

The exhibition will bring together equipment manufacturers, digital solution developers, property developers, designers, parking operators and government representatives. The exhibition will cover seven areas: design, construction and engineering; equipment and automation; mechanised and automated parking systems; digital management and services; safety and access control; charging infrastructure; and operation, maintenance and landscaping.

Car Park Construction, Automation and Safety

The exhibition will feature solutions for different stages of car park development. The construction section will include steel structures from EVRAZ STEEL BOX and Severstal Steel Solutions, engineering and cable support systems from KM-Profil, and specialist coatings from POLYMER PRO.

Mechanised parking systems will offer alternative ways to accommodate parking spaces at sites with limited space or complex layouts. This segment will feature Avialift, Mekhanizirovannye Parkingi, PANDA and MOGILEVLIFTMASH.

Solutions for day-to-day parking operations will cover automated entry and exit, contactless payment, number plate recognition, occupancy management and parking monetisation. Exhibitors in these areas will include PERCo, ES-ENGINEERING, PARKIT, HippoParking, CleverPark, Umnye Parkovki and Parking Solutions ISD.

Engineering and fire safety solutions will include fire protection systems from Pozhintekh Group and gas detection equipment from INKRAM for monitoring gas concentrations in enclosed and underground car parks. EV charging stations from E-PROM, PK Otkrytye Sistemy and UNIPRO will also be on display.

November 10: Urban Parking and Car-Free Courtyards

The programme will open with a discussion on urban parking development, covering system standardisation, digital services, changes to payment rules and the expansion of regional authorities’ powers. Announced participants include representatives from St Petersburg, the Moscow Region, Kaliningrad, Krasnodar, Sochi and Dornadzor.

The strategic session “Car-Free Courtyards: Parking Solutions for Modern Residential Developments” will be held jointly with the National Association of Infrastructure Project Investors (NAI.RF). Partners are SISTEMA KM and Severstal Steel Solutions.

Experts will examine the tensions between statutory parking provision requirements, construction economics and the quality of residential environments. The agenda includes optimising construction costs, prefabricated structures and traffic logistics within residential developments. Specialists from FSK Region, PLUS Development, STEP City, EVRAZ STEEL BOX, Severstal Engineering and Avialift will share their practical experience.

The day will conclude with the discussion “Intelligent Parking Systems: Technologies and Solutions for Parking Facilities”, covering artificial intelligence, the integration of IT and engineering systems, access automation and management models.

November 11: Charging Stations, Economics and Operation

EV Charging Infrastructure Day will focus on installing and operating charging stations in car parks at residential and commercial properties.

The discussion “A Home That Charges: Regulations, Technologies and Economics” will address regulatory requirements, available electrical capacity, connection costs and the payback period for EV charging stations in apartment buildings. The session partner is the Association of Manufacturers and Operators of EV Charging Stations (APOE). Participants will include E-PROM, PSS Corporation, Signum Group and PUNKT E.

The session “Parking Electrification: Problems That Cannot Be Ignored” will cover charging station efficiency, the integration of charging and parking infrastructure, digital management, energy storage and safety. The session partner is the Association for the Development of Electric, Autonomous and Connected Transport and Infrastructure (AETI).

Shopping Centre Parking and Bringing Car Parks into Operation

The same day will feature the business session “Shopping Centre Parking 2.0: From Parking Spaces to a Transport and Energy Hub”. Shopping centre executives, property management companies and solution developers will discuss parking traffic, service monetisation, EV charging deployment and the use of data. Partners are ATER, RAERR and the Union of Shopping Centres.

The day’s programme will conclude with the round table “The Car Park Is the Last to Be Completed: How to Coordinate IT, Safety and Engineering Systems to Open on Time and Within Budget”. The discussion will focus on the causes of delays, integration errors, fire safety, equipment deliveries and the handover of facilities for operation.
