The "Rudnik-2026" event in Yekaterinburg brought together 253 companies from four countries.

From October 27 to 29, 2026, the 11th International Exhibition for Mining Equipment and Technologies, "Rudnik" (Mine), took place at the Yekaterinburg-EXPO International Exhibition Center. The exhibition spanned two pavilions and brought together participants from Russia, China, Kazakhstan, and Belarus. For 126 of the 253 participating companies, this was their first time exhibiting at the event.

From Equipment Demonstrations to Client Negotiations

At the "Business Contacts Exchange," approximately 40 companies engaged in over 60 rounds of negotiations. Suppliers and contractors discussed the operational needs of mining enterprises, supply terms, and potential collaborations. Participating clients included UGMK (Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company), EVRAZ, Mikheevsky GOK (Mining and Processing Plant), Uralasbest, and Uralmashzavod.

An additional 67 meetings were held as part of the "Supplier Days" program. Companies presented their latest developments to the Verkhnekamsk Potash Company, Uralkali, and Vysokogorsky GOK, exploring their potential application in production processes. In a separate session, Ural-based enterprises and Chinese manufacturers—including XCMG, SANY, Zoomlion, and FAW—discussed opportunities for equipment supply and the localization of production within the Sverdlovsk Region.

Highlights from the Business Program

The business program featured 30 events, which were attended by 1,434 professionals. The plenary session focused on energy security, the development of the mineral resource base, and the digitalization of industrial enterprises. During a strategic session, participants looked 20–30 years into the future, exploring scenarios that included the use of robotic systems for resource extraction in extreme environments—even on the Moon.

A new addition to the program was the introduction of "open reception" sessions dedicated to subsoil use. Representatives from nine government agencies were on hand to answer questions regarding industrial safety, taxation, electronic reporting, and the use of the Unified Geological Information Fund. Over the course of the three-day event, various industry associations also signed three cooperation agreements.
