Compare not on the stand, but on the road: test drive at COMTRANS 2026

From September 22 to 25, visitors to the COMTRANS 2026 exhibition in Kazan will be able to not only see the latest commercial vehicle models but also test drive them firsthand. The Kazan Expo IEC will host open test drives of trucks, tractors, vans, pickups, and minivans from leading manufacturers.

Evaluating a vehicle's specifications at a stand is one thing, but getting behind the wheel and seeing how it performs on the road is quite another. Visitors to COMTRANS 2026 will have this opportunity.

The organizers have prepared two test drive formats:

A longer, 7-kilometer route includes access to a public road.
A shorter, 1.3-kilometer drive through the area between the Kazan Expo IEC pavilions for a brief introduction to the vehicle.

Visitors will be able to take several drives, compare different models, and evaluate their dynamics, handling, maneuverability, and other driving characteristics firsthand.

What will be tested?

Sitrak, MAZ, JAC, Sollers, RariTEK, Shacman, and other companies plan to participate in the test drive.

Various categories of commercial vehicles will be on the routes:

Long-haul tractors, including models powered by compressed natural gas;
Medium-duty trucks with various superstructures;
All-metal vans with automatic transmissions;
Pickup trucks with automatic and manual transmissions;
Minivans.

The start and finish of the races will be in a specially designated area in the P5 parking lot of the Kazan Expo IEC.

The test drive will be part of the extensive COMTRANS 2026 program. Over the course of four days, visitors will also be able to see commercial vehicle premieres at company stands in Cluster A and enjoy a rich business program featuring experts and industry representatives.
