Traditionally, at the end of summer, Kazan becomes a key hub for the petrochemical industry. From August 26 to 28, the city will host the Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum and the international specialized exhibition "KAZAN: OIL, GAS, CHEMISTRY." This year, the event will take place on the eve of the professional holiday of oil and gas workers and will bring together representatives of industry, business, science, and government.
Over 200 Companies and 10,000 Square Meters of Technologies
The exhibition will occupy over 10,000 square meters and bring together over 200 companies from Russia, BRICS, SCO, EAEU, and the CIS. Visitors will be able to learn about technologies and equipment for geological exploration, drilling, production, processing, and transportation of hydrocarbons, as well as solutions in industrial safety, energy efficiency, and digitalization of production processes.Participating companies include PJSC Tatneft named after V.D. Shashin, PAO Sibur Holding, AO Taif, Concern Belneftekhim, AO Kazancompressormash, AO Transneft-Prikamye, and other industry companies.
For the First Time – "Integrated Security"
One of the new features at the 2026 exhibition will be a dedicated stand, "Integrated Security." It will showcase modern developments in fire protection, industrial safety, and comprehensive protection for petrochemical facilities.The competition for the best project or technical solution will also continue. Engineers, scientists, startups, and research laboratories will be able to present their developments to the professional community.
The History of the Industry Through the Fate of an Individual
Another special project at the exhibition is "Chronicles of a Feat: The Personal Archive of an Oil Worker."The exhibition will tell the history of the oil and gas industry through the story of an individual – a composite image of a Soviet oil worker who survived the war and then participated in the country's reconstruction and the development of the industry. Visitors will see authentic items from personal archives that will help them understand the history of the domestic oil and gas industry not only through technologies and production achievements, but also through the lives of people.
Over 40 events for industry professionals
The exhibition will be part of the large-scale Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum. The business program includes over 40 events, including conferences, roundtables, industry discussions, and special B2B formats.One of the central events will be the plenary conference "Technological Leadership and Sustainable Development: Innovative Approaches and Solutions for the Future of the Oil and Gas Industry," dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the discovery of Devonian oil in Tatarstan.
Supplier Days, featuring PJSC Gazprom, PJSC SIBUR Holding, and PJSC Tatneft named after V.D. Shashin, will be of practical interest to suppliers and manufacturers. The meetings will focus on competitive procurement, import substitution, logistics, and opportunities for cooperation with major customers.
For the first time, the program will feature two more specialized B2B formats: "Oil Refining Hour" and "Oilfield Services Hour." These will provide an opportunity to meet directly with industry experts, project managers, and procurement directors to discuss potential collaborations.
A separate section of the forum will be dedicated to industrial human resources. An HR conference, a job fair, career guidance events, and a foresight session on the competencies of future specialists are planned.
The Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum is supported by the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, and more than 20 industry unions and associations. The organizers are the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan and ANO Kazan Expo.
